Hello everyone

To start in the community I'd like to share my experience installing OsX on my HP Pavilion dv6666ez (dv 6000 Series)

What Works

Installation - It's an Intel ICH8 Motherboard. Ideneb 10.5.8 used. I had to choose VoodoPS2 during installation. Otherwise Laptop Keyboard and Mousepad won't work.

Sound - Used ALC268Fix from Taruga. Can't turn off the Volume completely so. Muting button doesn't work at all. If volume is turned to Zero I can still hear sound. Also I have to change the Output device when Pluging in a headphone. It's not automatically recognized

Mic - Used ALC268Fix from Taruga

Nvidia It's an Nvidia 8400M GS. Used NVinstaller. I think i choose the 800MB option or so. Now I have different Resolutions and Quartz Extreme (Used in VLC for Example).

Battery Icon Used VoodooBattery

Speedstepping Used VoodooPower

Not Working

Wifi - I think Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG is known not to work. If someone can prove me wrong even better

Webcam - It's some kind of HP Webcam. I couldn't find more information even in linux. It's recognized. And a blue light is on when activated. But no picture

Other Issue

-Shutdown doesn't work. I already tried OpenHaltRestart.kext

Hope this helps someone. Any suggestions to the remaining Problems are of course appreciated ;)
