pthor Posted November 11, 2010 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Hi all! I have a Gateway P-6860fx that I have installed SL 10.6.3 onto by using a bootcd to boot from the SL 10.6.3 install disk. Almost everything works. The wifi, and sound did not work out of the box. I now have the sound working, and am using a usb wifi adapter (Belkin 802.11g) until I install my 1490 wifi card. My problem is that I cannot boot from the hard disk that SL 10.6.3 is installed on. I still have to use the bootcd to start SL. I also have Win7 installed on my second hard disk, which boots fine.
