Zeophlite
Hi all, I'm trying to do http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html and get up to step 7 then can't get to an apple screen (normally get an error telling me to power down - or something about panic & system uptime in nanoseconds) AsrockP55Pro-USB3 Intel Core i3-530 Asus 1gb 5670 Using SL 10.6.0 Retail disk, current ##### (also tried #####-Legacy) Have tried most (if not all) combinations of: -x -s -v cpus=1 busratio=22 busratio=20 But I can only get to the ##### screen, change disks, press F5, then select the SL DVD option. I get some panic error, then it tells me "System uptime in nanoseconds: 1362835700" Would greatly appreciate any possible help. Giorgio_multi
Probably a video card problem. Try to delete ATI5000Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX3000.kext (if works you must reinstall the graphics drivers.
Zeophlite
I also had this output from after loading ##### 2.5, I then ran SL with -v -c http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/3219/21354583.jpg

Zeophlite
When you say remove ATI5000Controller.kext and ATIRadeonX3000.kext , what do you mean? I'm guessing taking the #####.iso file, renaming to .zip, extract, find and remove those kext's, then rearchieve and re rename as iso? Wouldn't that the bootloading iso thing? I'm a bit of a newb in this, is there any easier way to do that?
Giorgio_multi
I refer to this http://redirectingat.com/?id=292X457&x...%23entry1579928 problem. To remove the 2 kexts delete by windows with macdrive (make a backup before)
Zeophlite
The image is a collage of very slow quality, not readable. Sorry about the image quality, but it is good enough to read off of, especially if you zoom out. Its very difficult to get pictures of my monitor - I've only got a very old digital camera. What section can't you read? I'll try to get a better picture.

I haven't loaded MacOSX onto my hard drive yet - the KP occurs just after #####, before I can even get to install it!
