Hey,

I have an Acer Tower (M1610) and I am attempting to get it running with the latest version of Mac OSX,

I downloaded a boot CD and I have a Snow Leopard DVD - Ran the boot disk, booted from the snow leopard disc and the install failed.

I have searched the net and even on here but can find no definitive guide to installing the Mac OS...

Is it because the ACER is not using a compatible mboard, as I do have a spare Dell Optiplex GX270 that I could use, or my main PC is a Dell inspiron 530 however I wanted to get a working mac before gutting my pc...

Can anyone help with what I should be looking at and basically how to start?

Thanks in advance
