iDerf2006
Hey all, I'll be going into college next semester for Multimedia Communications, so I'll be doing a lot of work with Photoshop, InDesign, that sort of thing. I'll definitely need a new computer for this, my aging 1st Gen Core Duo Macbook Pro just isn't up to it anymore. Out of curiosity, how well would an HP ENVY 14 hold up to what I want with Snow Leopard installed? The specs of the machine I'd be purchasing are... 2.40 GHz Core i3ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5650 4GB DDR3 RAM 500GB 7200rpm HDD SATA If anybody could help me out, that'd be excellent! Thanks! Thanks! I've been working on getting mine running Vanilla with #####+#####, though after upgrading to 10.6.4 (then using #####) I'm failing to boot. Trying to work around it right now, though it's a slow process for a noob! Edit: Alright, found out what the issue is with the upgrade to 10.6.4. Neither the Intel Integrated HD Graphics, nor the Radeon 5650 are supported in any way, so there's no way to boot. Looks like a waiting game to see which, if either, is supported first.
