I saw it last night at a local IMAX theatre and I really didn't care for it like I did the first one. Almost any movie is made better in IMAX format, but I just wasn't very impressed with this one. dakine Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 I didn't think it was as good as the 1st one. I thought the morphed sea creatures was a bit much. I also thought the ending really sucked. I hate going to movie only to find out you have to wait until the next movie to have to wait until the next movie,etc... to find out how things turn out. I felt robbed when I left the theatre. kevin_4e Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 I personally really enjoyed it. It was creative and very exciting in my opinion. They could have done a lot of stuff better (like the ending) but oh well, i still enjoyed it. As for the iMax part, that must have been cool. I wish the would play more movies at our iMax. I like sequels, but when you have to wait till 2009 to see when it will end....nah i don't want to wait. Jerry is an awesome producer tho. Does a really good job on all of his shows/movies.
