Here is my system CPU: E5200 MB: P35-ds3 VGA: 8600GT 256M dual DVI, but my Monitor had only VGA port, so i used DVI->VGA adapter My system work well with DSDT auto patcher except Speedstep and VGA need EFI String in boot.plist. The included data is your DSDT, a list of loaded kexts, an ioreg dump and the kernel log. If you want to see the commands it runs, just open the script with "Automator". Can someone fix Asrock 4Core1600-DVI DSDT? oSxFr33k Posted March 26, 2011 Share Posted March 26, 2011 MaLdon, How are things going. I have this HP DV7-4285dx that no matter what I do I cannot boot MAC to it. I am thinking if I could start with a DSDT that patched properly it could help. I cannot get the files you would like to see from the mac but I was able to get the DSDT from windows 7 using DSDT editor. I was also able to get the LSPCI in Linux. Do you have a utility that runs in Linux or WIndows 7 I can use to get you the necessary information such as the registry? I have attached what I have for now. I may have mistaken this as an error or warning but I think it just gets stuck at this point during the boot process. It stops right after this: FRAMEBUFFER @0xA000000 MMIO @0xC4400000 I/O POrt @ 0x00004000 ROm Addr @0xFFFe0000 ATI Card Posted, Reading VBIOS from Legacy space I have not tried your DSDT yet but the one I had I only fixed the HPET, RTC, TIMR and I still get stuck at that point. So there was tons of problem I have a GA-EP45-UD3P ver 1.6 with the FD bios. Followed a guide for a DS3L mother board by BlackOSx, it works surprisingly well. But I think because I have a Realtek ALC889A sound is not working. And also ATA drives are not correctly identified. I got a nVidia GTS250 1GB with dual DVI; but dual DVI doesn't work, just one DVI port at a time will work. I think I need a correct dsdt.aml file. I'm lost in this thread.
