benneque
Hey guys, I've read a lot OSX86 topics here and at google and finally I'm confused. What else?! I've got 3 systems here that will (or should) get OSX86: 1. DELL Studio 1555 (Core 2 Duo, ATi Radeon Mobility 4570) 2. Samsung R560 Mebugo (Core 2 Duo, NVidia 9600M GT) 3. Self-Made (NVidia nForce 730i, Celeron [Core 2 Duo], Geforce 9300) SATA / AHCI etc. is clear to me. I'm just looking for the right installation method! 1. I want to use original Snow Leopard 10.6.0 DVD 2. There will be 2 other operating systems on each PC/Laptop (Windows 7, Gentoo Linux) 3. I want to use original Updates from Apple These things are possible, I know. And now there's still an open question concerning the kexts: 4. Store the needed kexts with the bootloader, so they won't get overwritten with OSX update Is this possible at all? Or do I always have to have kexts inside of OSX ? I hope someone is willing to answer my questions Thanks and bye bye Benny
