Eyman
Hey, Just to start with, I'm a total noob when it comes to hackintoshes. So please bare with me. What I have: GA-P55M-UD2 Intel 750 i5 Sapphire Radeon 5770 1gb 4gig DDR3 Samsung 1tb x2 SL RETAIL DVD W7 RETAIL DVD I've downloaded the ##### ATI, and used Tony's install method. I've installed SL on a 1tb HDD, and W7 on the other. I installed Charmeleon 2.0 RC4 on the HDD and made the SL HDD to be prio one. Charmeleon loads, and i can choose between SL, Windows NTFS, and non specified. If i choose SL, it will load the start screen, then say I have to restart the computer. Windows does not even start anymore... I've already reinstalled both 2 times. Also, if someone could help me (when I got multi booting working), how can I can optomize the system, with the Radeon 5770. Thanks for great site, I appreciate any help! Hangten
In order for Chameleon to boot your Windows 7. You need to get rid of the recovery boot patrician that Windows 7 makes. First thing is to get your disk like you want it by using Hiron's Boot CD Ok this part is simple and just boot with this Hiron's Boot and çhoose mini XP so then you can do all kinds of {censored} to the disk. Simply make one patrician and format it as primary blah blah blah Transmac is good for 15 days and you can tweak your HFS+ drive with it. The other thing is you can use a shortcut key upon booting select the drive boot menu.... for booting natively if you don't like changing the BIOS drive boot order. This is just until you get Chameleon running. If you listed your kexts and your com.apple.Boot.plist you might make it easier for members to help. Goodluck! Don't give up and hope your successful.
