Thund3rbolt Posted October 11, 2010 Share Posted October 11, 2010 How I did it, by Victor Von Frrrankenshteen I installed with iDeneb 10.5.7 selecting only the following: vanilla 9.70 kernel ps2 fix (keyboard and mouse) ICH0-ICH10 chipset Broadcom Wireless ( I switched my mini pc card to a broadcom) let the install finish and then boot normal and follow these instructions: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...142115&st=0 using the following video kexts: http://www.mediafire.com/?yzqw5myz2qg Install SwitchResX and add custom res: 1280x800x32 @ 57.56 hz ( http://www.madrau.com/download/latest/latest.html) reboot, install the following bundle for perfect audio ( no mic but no scratchy either) audio: VoodooHDA-0.2.56.pkg ( http://nawcom.com/osx86/files/10.6/Audio/V...-0.2.56.pkg.zip ) reboot install the following so wired lan and battery will come out of sleep. lan: RealtekRTL81xx_0.0.67 ( http://lnx2mac.blogspot.com/2010/09/lnx2ma...river-goes.html ) battery: AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext ( http://rapidshare.com/files/149393858/Appl...anager.kext.zip ) That's it .. after that everything pretty much works including sleep. Webcam still not working and unfortunately you have to use SwitchResX until someone comes out with a better GMA3100 driver to support 1280x800. Happiness is a hax0red Sony!
