FakeSteez
I've spent 40+ hours on this project alone, and I'm still at this graphics card issue. So, after a month, I ditched the G41m-ES2H and got the G41m-ES2L for x16 2.0 support. I also got the PNY GT 240 1GB DDR3 after I deemed the MSI 9400GT 512mb DDR2 unusable. I figured out audio and ethernet in a few days, but I've been stuck without QE/CI for the LONGEST TIME. So, according to the hackintosh wiki, in HCL 10.6.3/4, the GT240 from PNY is supposed to work out of box with JUST GraphicsEnabler=yes. In my case, that is NOT the situation. The weird thing is, I've NEVER gotten one of my graphics cards to work even a little bit. I've use #####+##### and EmpireEFI+Ridgeline, like in the mini guide for my board. NVEnabler probe always fails, giving me a black screen. GraphicsEnabler=yes has no effect whatsoever. I've tried it in /E and in /L/Prefs/Sysprefs with no effect. EFIStrings don't work either. Editing NV50Hal or NVResman with my device ID doesn't work either. Could someone please, please, provide me with some step by step tips on how to get this to work? Shoot, I'll even pay you if you take me step by step over IM or something. After this much time, I feel like it's my fault this isn't working. pirloui
Weird, try to get rid of everything that isn't "GraphicsEnabler=yes".. (mine works with only that) Good luck.
FakeSteez
Like, have GraphicsEnabler=yes be the only string..?
