I have a really annoying problem with my webcam, it is stated that the webcam is supported by UVC, and seems it is, but in some cases isn't (?). Well, the webcam works in iChat and Flash(i mean in browsers - e.g. chatroullette), but strangely, it doesn't work in Skype and Photo Booth... I tried playing with the video values in the Skype configuration xml file, but with no success yet. Oh, and by doesn't work, I mean that both programs detect the webcam, but all I see is a black picture. I even tried macam but it didn't help. Please help me solve this. Also, a bit details about the camera: the laptop is an HP DV6630ej btw. HP Webcam: Product ID: 0xb015 Vendor ID: 0x04f2 (Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd.)
