AMD CPUs require the use of a patched i.e. non-vanilla kernel........e.g. for Leopard use Voodoo 9.5.0, or StageXNU 9.4.0........., or for Snow Leopard, use Qoopz kernel......... oldnapalm
Use verbose boot (-v) to check the error. Probably it's "waiting for root device", you have to install the driver for your SATA/ATA controller. You can keep posting in the same topic, no need to create a new one for each step. oldnapalm
The easiest way is installing again, but this time you select the kernel and the SATA driver in customise (AppleNForceATA?).
