Rajarshi Roy
Well just a few days back I came to know that it is actually possible to install Mac on non Apple Hardware. And some surfing led me to this amazing place. I do have a decent idea about Windows and Computers but a total newbie when it comes to Mac. Here is the Specifications of my Laptop Model - Dell Studio XPS 1645 Motherboard - Mobile Intel PM 55 Express Chipset Motherboard Processor - Intel Core i7 740QM @ 1.73 GHz. Max Frequency 2.93 GHz during Turbo Boost Memory - 4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz GPU- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 1 Gb DDR3 OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit Hard Disk - 500 Gb So is it possible to install a OSx86 and use it along with my Windows 7 ultimate ? I have never tried it before and thought would get some expert advice before giving it a go. A detailed explanation will really be appreciated
jchiera
Well, I'm no expert either on Macs, but maybe try this? http://www.taranfx.com/install-mac-os-x-le...in-9-easy-steps . I u sed his guide on installing SL in VMware and it worked perfectly so I assume he knows what he is doing, haha. Is the Snow Leopard you have a retail Disc or a torrent?
