Marcelo Marinho Posted October 6, 2010 Share Posted October 6, 2010 Hi All I'm trying my first Mac OS X installation. I have a P5GC-MX/1333 Asus motherboard (using all on board cards). The Mac OS X ISO is "iPC OSX86 Universal 10.5.6". I followed the instructions in here: InsanelyMac Forum > 10.5.6=no wired ethernet and firewire HCL 10.5.6 - OSx86 iPC OSX86 Universal 10.5.6 Successfully Installed on Asus P5GC-MX / 1333. | OSX86 Guides But, my Ethernet is still off after installing AttansicL2Ethernet.kext (tried a couple of versions from 090219 to 090224). I tried to remove AppleHPET.kext and install IONetworkingFamily.kext, as well as AttansicL1Ethernet.kext No result from those either. Finally, in system.log I found out that some dependencies are missing for AttansicL2Ethernet.kext. I used kextlibs and many "not found" symbols showed up. Most symbols start with "__ZN20IONetworkControllerxxxxxxxxx" I plan to make a clean install again, but I would appreciate if anyone could help me find out what is missing in my installation.
