AirPort kexts from Leopard to Tiger...

Hi, this is my first topic here.

Anyway, to cut to the chase, I have a MacBookPro4,1 (which came with Leopard). I found a way to install Tiger on it, and I have done it. However, the disc I used is from a not-very-compatible MacBook2,1. Meaning, it came with incompatible kexts for my computer. So basically, can I copy the needed kexts from Leopard? And if so, which ones? Or can someone show me where to get them for Tiger (from a MacBookPro3,1, as it is the most similar MBP to my MBP but I don't have one) if it isn't against the forum rules?

Thank you in advance.

PS. Please don't tell me to buy a MacBookPro3,1 restore disc, because that's not going to happen. Also please don't ask me why I want to do this, as all I need is to know how to get AirPort to work.

I already installed it. In fact, to make it work (without wifi) i had to install the 10.4.9 delta (it had 10.4.8). Then MBP graphics software update v1.2, then 10.4.11. Then boot into Tiger. Works nice. To make the keyboard function nice, I copy the topcase kext from Leopard to Tiger. Multitouch doesn't work. And wifi. That's all. Everything else does. I'll try reinstalling 10.4.11 again. As far as I know, the airport kexts are IO80211Family.kext, AppleAirPort.kext, and AppleAirPort2.kext. Are these the only ones?

Thank you :)

OK, I've done that, but nothing. However, I tried deleting all the network config files and launching Setup Assistant, and I managed to choose a network. It tells me AirPort is not configured. After a reboot AirPort stops working and I have to repeat. Any idea why? Also, what do AppleAirPort.kext and AppleAirPort2.kext do?

Try to load the Kext in Terminal with root rights and with kextload.

Also, what do AppleAirPort.kext and AppleAirPort2.kext do?

They are for PowerPC Mac's.
