Gringo Vermelho Posted September 29, 2010 Share Posted September 29, 2010 If you're loading a patched DSDT.aml you might run into problems. When changing the amount of RAM, some address locations change in the DSDT as well. Logically your patched DSDT will not reflect those changes. Redump your DSDT in Windows or from a Linux Live CD after adding or removing RAM, search through it for the word "memory", compare with the old DSDT and change the numbers accordingly. I would like to know if I can install easily new ram (no nothing about hackintosh). This is the working configuration: cpu : intel i7 2600k sandy bridge 3.4 ghz mb : asus p8p67pro rev 3.1 ram : 6 ghz corsair dominator 1600mhz Corsair's site suggests either XMS3 or Dominator GT with DHX... both in the 8Gb version (I think 4x to get max at 32 Gb).
