The best [noobie] way of installing OSX on Zotac ION-ITX-A wifi based machine

Please excuse my utter ignorance, I've been researching how to convert a PC over to Mac but I'm finding it difficult to follow all the technical details in these forums.

A bit of backstory, I've recently had my HCPC upgraded to use a Zotac ION-ITX-A Wi-Fi Dual Core 1.6GHz Atom N330 Mini-ITX mother board [with HDMI and digital audio] running 2Gb RAM and a 30Gb SSD.

Currently it is set up to run a cut down version of XBMC, I believe on Linux or Ubuntu however the majority of my other hardware is Mac, so I was looking at an opportunity to maybe convert this to a Hakintosh, and run Plex as my a media centre akin to a Mac Mini.

This is about where my expertise runs out, and I wondered [i have had a bit of a dig about] if there was a simple guide to installing OSX. I don't mind purchasing a retail OS DVD, I'm looking for the most painless route!!!

I've had difficulty following some of the threads on here, as a lot are very much a work in progress which is understandable. I was hoping that someone had success with this particular hardware, and had a definitive guide?

Many thanks in advance for your help.
