Right, so I want to get OS X Leopard working on my custom built computer (:

My specs:

AMD Quad core 620 Processor

Nvidia 9800GTX+ Video Card

4GB Kingston Ram

Asus M4A785-M Mother Board (ATI CHIPSET)

1 IDE Hard Drive, 160GB

1 Sata Hard Drive, 600GB

IDE CD-ROM

So I need some help, obviously.

If possible, can someone right my a step by step guide getting this to work? I wouldn't mind if I had to use the on-board graphics on my computer, if theres any problem with my 9800GTX+

I'd really like to know STEP-BY-STEP, link by link, haha.

I'd love to give a donation to the person that can set me up with these instructions!

THANKS!

Andrei.

So many people say this forum helps, I dont see any..

If you don't see any, that's because you're not looking. Instead you're waiting for someone to provide you with a guide.

This forum is extremely helpful but usually you'll have to do your own research.

All the information you need is buried here in 4 years' worth of posts.

I can't help you with the specifics, but I can tell you that ATI chipset + an AMD CPU is one of the least compatible platforms you can install OS X on.

On the other hand, if your 9800GTX+ has device ID 0x612 (not 0x613) it will work with unmodified nvidia drivers, all you need is an injection method such as Chameleon GraphicsEnabler.

Good luck!
