Failing at Hackintosh

I've been trying to get iPC running on my computer for about 3 days now with no luck. First it was the "Waiting on root device." I fixed that. Now, I am getting a kernel panic that says "/sbin/launchd failed errno 2" and "failed to access /dev." This is all happening before I get to the installation screen.

I searched for about 3 hours and no one has a solution. I tried putting in a Ubuntu live CD and it is not working either so I am thinking maybe it's the DVD drive giving it trouble? I am going to try and put iPC on a flash drive and see if that helps. But if anyone has any input on the panic it would be greatly appreciated! And I've set every flag possible so it's not the flags (cpus=1 maxmem=2048 -x -s -f etc.). I have not added and kexts, this is a default build and I cannot see why I can't get past this!

Update: Doesn't look like I can boot from USB. Sweet.
