Falling Idols
Hi, awhile ago i was able to get my studio 1555 to successfully dual boot windows 7 and osx 10.57. Only problems were that I could not get the native resolution to work and that I could not get quartz extreme or qe/ci or any of that good stuff to work.... (I had wifi sound battery meter, webcam only worked on initial boot when it took my picture and then it wouldnt work with photobooth.) so i uninstalled it and i waited for a bit and im ready to try again if its possible. Could someone help me out with my graphics card.... here are my specs Dell Studio 1555 Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family The adapter string is Mobile Intel® GMA 4500MHD Bios Info Intel Video Bios TOtal Available Graphics Memory 1291MB Dedicated Video Memory 32MB System Video Memory 32MB Shared System Memory 1227. Falling Idols
hey man welcome to the club i been going crazy tryin to get my {censored} to work it wont no sound or network i cant find drivers and if i do try something nothing seems to work wat works on urs and wat dont im gonna prob try to do it again tonight with snow hazard.... i had everything working except q/e stuff. now i know there are ways to get my own default res . my web cam is a little weird since i dont have the q/e and stuff. the system was a little unstable when i installed it but when it worked, it worked well. it was pretty fast too and i could do normal updates without any hacking or garbage like that. i deleted it for not being able to use my native resolution . i will post you drivers and stuff once i get it running again! hari.iiitb
Follow the steps here and enjoy full resolution with QE/CI. I did and I am thrilled! http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=254906
