Problems Installing SL on my PC

I hope I'm not too bothersome as I can imagine there are others with problems similar to mine.

I've spent all of 3 days trying to figure out how to get Snow Leopard on my custom rig:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 3.2Ghz

MOBO: M4N82 Deluxe

Graphics: Nvidia XFX Geforce 9800 GTX+

If you need any other specs just say so.

I have configured my 16GB USB drive to install SL using exactly these 2 guides:

http://andrewmajot.com/blog/2010/08/10-6-snow-leopard-pc/

and

http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required

I get as far as the Apple logo where it hangs until infinite. (I believe a post below me has the same problem)

Frankly, I'm not sure if any of my hardware is compatible, if I did the configuration for the USB drive correctly, or if I have all the needed software.

I would really appreciate any insight on the subject. I'd really love to run SL on such a powerful rig.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I began to mess with a program called "Lizard" but then I realized I hit the limit of what I could guess at. I no longer have any idea what I'm doing.

EDIT: I found this, but I don't know how to use it.

I'm not sure if this helps, but I had the same issue when I tried to run Snow Leopard on VMWare. I complained about it and people said: "Turn hardware virtualization on/off from your BIOS".

So it may be a problem with your hardware. I'm a newcomer myself so forgive me for this maybe unuseful post.
