allfoshow Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 I have read the guide on how to install (http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow-leopard-on-your-hackintosh-pc-no-hacking-required). I just need to make sure it will work with my hardware specifically my Gfx card. I am using 2 hard drives one for win7 (already installed) and one for this osx install. My system: Asus P5Q pro motherboard Intel Q6600 @3.2 ghz 4gb ddr2 @1066 mhz Sapphire Ati 4870 1gb creative x-fi extreme gamer sound card. I understand that my video card might not be supported and i may need to edit kext files. I have no idea how to do that as i have never owned a mac before. Any help on that would be great.
