I've had a macbook for about 4 years, and it seems there's a problem with the power internally, and I don't want to pay to fix it since its so old, and all I do is use it for my torrents, and some web browsing.

I know the hard drive is still working, and I tried to plug it in to my tower, and set it to be first boot priority. Obviously it didn't work that would've been too easy, is there any way I can get this drive to boot while in my tower?

My rig is a built i7-930, evga x58 classified, evga 480 gtx, 6gb DDR3
