Hi everybody

First of all, thanks for all those freaking nice tutorials / knowhow -posts!

After some research here inside the forum and some basic "kexting" i managed to get Kalyway 10.5.2 working perect on my Dell XPS 420.

What i'm unable to do is setting up SnowLeopard.

i tried:

- iAtkos s3 v2

- SnowOSX 3.5 universal

I cant boot the DVD, so i used "-v" and the error occures because it cant find my HDD's (still waiting for Root.."

So i guess there's a problem with the S/ATA kext?

Can somebody tell me if im +/- correct ?

I already tried playing with BIOS settings without having any success.

The strange thing is, that it works perfectly with Kalyway DVD 10.5.2 - so i wonder what the big diffrence between those IMG is..

Probably im unlucky with a non-working SATA contoller driver - i'll try to boot it again using chameleon, it should have some additional driver for exotic controller i think.

Little update:

In my opinion it's unpossible to run SL on my XPS - only working ISO's is Kalyway's 10.5.2 (Leopard).

I was able to get SnowOSX 3.5 booting - installed it - but as soon as i try to boot it it's unable to detect my HDD.

Seems like my SATA driver is really exotic..

Would it be possible to extract the SATA kext from Kalyway's 10.5.2 ISO and add it to other ISO's like iAtkos?

Thanks
