It wouldn't be a simple task, but it would be neat to have the filesystem, networking and security from the newest stable branch of FreeBSD incorporated into darwin. The BSD and ASPL liscense are compatible so any legal issues could be avoided(Naturally this is why os x can exist). Does anyone else see any other benefits/issues with this, and has anyone been working or is planning to work on something like this? Any input is welcome.
