First of all let me apologise to those who may have replied to my original thread asking for help getting Leo installed on my nVidia/Intel desktop.

I made the post and then entered into an argument with my ISP that resulted in me being without an ISP. I am however now back online (obviously).

I have ditched the idea of my desktop having SL on it as most of the time the Leopard Installer wouldn't even run and I have successfully installed iDeneb 10.5.7 on my Compaq Presario.

I have installed Dong's frame buffer kext which at least gives me native resolution at least. I have installed the realket lan kexts so I have network up and running. I can't get the atheros AR9285 card working but that's not really a problem for me. What I would like to get working is the audio.

It was kind of working with the voodooHDA kext that I selected on installation but the sound was crackly and stuttered a lot. So I installed the appleHDA kext, but that didn't work at all. So then I went to kexts.com and got the latest voodooHDA.kext and tried installing that. I have no audio at all and when I try to accesss the voodoo section in system preferences I get the error message "Can't get registry entry path" - so basically I've stuffed up my audio

Can someone please help me sort it out?

many thanks in advance

(as a secondary request can someone tell me how to change my keyboard layout from US to UK?)
