Right. That's "Still waiting for boot device" which informs you that it cannot locate the boot drive. Please verify if the UUID in com.apple.Boot.plist is the one pointing to the correct drive volume. That's all I can say to it.

Cheers,

Sam.

I get that error but when I put rd=disk1, it goes to the restart screen, my MAC OS X is installed on drive 0,1

Windows is installed on drive 0,0

I only have 1 hardrive...

Oh yeh is their any other codes like (-v rd=disk1), because then I can show you the other details

Thread is a bit confusing. Are you getting "Still waiting for boot device" from the install DVD or when you try and boot from the Hard Drive now

You say MAC OS X is installed on drive 0,1 & Windows is installed on drive 0,0

If the hard drive was partitioned either MBR or GUID, I would think the first partition would be the loader so for a single hard drive with windows on the first partition the scheme would be

0s0 loader

0s1 windows

0s2 OS X

Back read, this forum has lots of resources all it takes is to read. Most of the people here have learned to deal with their problems by back reading. What is more important than installing and being able to impress friends is the knowledge you learn.
