This is all the information I have. From System Info Ven ID: 8086 Dev ID: 293e Device: 82801 (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller System Profiler tells me. Your topic title "Help with Sound" is vague and will not attract the attention of other Sony Vaio users who might be able to help you. Type "Sony Vaio ALC262" (without the quotes) in the search box above. Also try with the device/vendor ID, "0x293e8086" and "0x104D9035". You're much more likely to get help if you post in one of the existing threads instead of starting a new one, especially with a nondescript title like that.
