will i have to select same customize options in the link above?

thanks verdant for the reply ..

can u tell me what to select in that only for my pc?

In the iATKOS S3 v2 Installer Customise menu, initially select the options shown in BOLD here......

> iATKOS S3 Main System [Pre-selected Default]

> Bootloader

>> AsereBLN v1.19 [Default]

>> PC_EFI v10.6

>> Slice

>> AnVAL Loader

>> Chameleon v2 RC5

>> Chameleon v2 RC4

> Bootloader Options

>> 32-bit boot

>> Graphics Enabler

>> -pci1

>> Ethernet

>> USB (USBBusFix; EHCIacquire; UHCIreset)

>> Quiet Boot

>> Legacy Logo

>> UUID [selecting this breaks HDD multiboot options]

> Patches

>> /Extra directory [Default]

>> fakesmc [Default] V2.5 [MUST BE SELECTED]

>> Disabler [Default]

>> RTC (RTC [Default]; RTC(32bit))

>> Modified Kernels (qoopz 10.3.0; qoopz 10.2.0; PCJ kernel; Atom Kernel)

>> EVO Reboot [Default]

>> Sleep Enabler

>> USB

>> UUID

> Drivers

>> Main Hardware

>>> SATA/IDE (AHCI SATA; Intel SATA/IDE; JMicron SATA/IDE; VIA SATA/IDE (support for VIA, SiS, SI, ULI, Marvell and some nForce chipsets); nForce SATA/IDE)

>>> Sound (Voodoo HDA [Default]; Apple HDA 10.6.2 [Default])

>>> PS/2 (Apple PS/2; Voodoo PS/2) [i am assuming you have a PS/2 keyboard and mouse; if not, then ignore PS/2]

>>> CPU Power Management (Voodoo P-State; Voodoo Power; EvO Speedstep)

>>> Laptop Hardware (Battery; Card Reader; TSC Sync; ACPI Thermal (32bit)

>>> NTFS-3G (Mac FUSE Core; NTFS-3G [automatic sub-selection])

>> VGA

>>> nVidia

>>>> EFI String (DVI/DVI; DVI/VGA; VGA/DVI)

>>>> Enablers (NVEnabler; Natit)

>>> ATI

>>>> Enablers (EVO enabler; ATY-Init (32bit)

>>>> ATI 48xx

>>>> ATI Framebuffer

>>>> EFI String

>>>> Natit (32bit)

>>>> GMA 950 (GMA 950 27A2 (32bit); GMA 950 27AE (32bit))

If choosing GMA 950 27A2 does not work then choose GMA 950 27AE........unless you can determine from Windows Device Manager the Device ID for your GMA 950 chipset......

>>>> GMA X3100 (Framebuffer (32bit)

>> Network

>>> Wireless [Check if your WiFi card has a RTL8187 variant chipset, and then choose the correct driver]

Does the Thank You mean success.....?

iatkos installed but i don't know how to install kexts...

on boot screen it show that

ERROR : Unable to find SMBOIS !

ERROR : Unable to find SMBOIS !

then apple logo comes and it boots ....i have no sound although i installed 2 kexts AppleHDA and Voodo HDA...

The kextu gave me APPLE AC97 audio.kext what i did was i manually deleted both applehda and voodo hda and using kext helper b7 installed the appleAc97 kext...and rebooted no sound again

another problem is about this mac and sleep crash...i log out with blue screen( solid colour ) and then again logs in... same with sleep and about this mac

i read in some post that it is dependent on SMBOIS.....so i thought asking u was better....

For graphics... the GMA 950 27a2 worked i had QE/CI but no resolution change...that is ok because i have a screen with 1024*768 resoultion...:D

Front Row app causes kenal panic....and i had to reboot!...never mind

A huge thanks to u..if my sound and that sleep prob is solved i m at a seventh sky...:D

and ya my ethernet worked out of box...with RTL8169 kext in installer...just configured the setting and itw worked like a Charm....

PS - Posting all this from my new Mac mini 3.1~!
