Hello,

I've been trying to install OSX snow leopard V10.6 on my laptop, which is a Asus PRO5DIN. I'm currently running Windows 7 64 bit.

I used to ##### to boot, replace the ##### bootcd by the OSX DVD. This worked fine, i get a osx loading screen, but i can't get into the next menu. For a while my DVD reader is reading, then it stops and nothing happens.

I think the reason why this isn't working are my BIOS settings. I changed my disk configuration to Compatible (instead of Enhanced, AHCI is not selectable). This didn't work so i have updated my BIOS to the newest version, without any success of getting any further in the installation of OSX.

Now, is it possible that my motherboard just doesn't support AHCI and that therefore installing OSX on my laptop is impossible?

Thanks in advance for any input on this.
