Okay, Hi all!

I've decided to reinstall my iPC OSx again on my portable hard drive - However this time round i'm using a 'family PC' (Dell Dimension 9100, P4 HT) to do the installation for me..

I had noticed that on one of the screens at the begining, it says something about potentially overwriting something called a 'boot.[extention here] (Not sure which Ext. it is, you'll probably know).

So my question is this: will installing the iPC 10.5.6 on my portable HDD mess around with the actual PC bootup on a different hard drive?

It's a bit of a silly question, I know - but I ain't half afraid to install the damn thing on here xD

Not to worry... Managed to find a fix!

For anyone else having this problem, it's quite simple!

Crack open your PC and detatch the cables leading to your hard drive(s).

keep the External Hard drive connected and pop in the disk.

Install as you normally would =]
