Cheapest s775 OS X compatible motherboard

Hello

 

This is my first post in this great forum so please be gentle with me

 

So I DID own Asus p5w dh deluxe motherboard(which was a great mobo ) before it blow up yesterday. I managed to install OS X on my rig, and everything worked like a charm.

 

I will buy a whole new rig before Christmas but before it I probably could buy a new cheap s775 mobo and trying to live with it.

 

So basic question would be that what is the cheapest mobo where I can install OS X without hustle 2 days to get it work? I mean as easy install as it could be. It would more than great to have same kind installation as with p5w dh deluxe.

Well my friend, you should check out the new Russian Bizoon's mobos. Fully compatible with the OS X [they guarantee].

Though it's not cheap, I've just gave you a tip on what to buy for Christmas.

I had almost no problems installing Mac OS X 10.6.4 on my P5K-E motherboard. I don't know if you can find one of those new anymore though. It's a few years old.

I didn't find that mobo anymore on my local retailer. So basically I was wondering do I need some exact mobo or chipset (meaning p35 or x975 like my last p5w dh deluxe?)

I can't say for certain, but I've got a couple of P35 based motherboards that have worked with OS X quite well and have been decently easy to setup.

 

Every OSX86 setup is going to require a bit of tweaking, but that's what these forums are for right?
