do you mean when you click on it or just in the icon itself ?

 

 

both meaning i have the icon and if i say tell it to show me the time remaining it says (not charging) here is a picture i took it is not currently plugged in.post-663878-1284341367_thumb.jpg

 

 

 

also since it is you replying were you able to get the headphone working on this thing? other than the battery and sleep(who needs sleep) i have everything working

Ok i see now.In your extra/extensions folder do you have either AppleACPIBatteryManager kext or VoodooBattery kext.Either one should work,I've used them both in the past.I also use the VoodooPowerMini kext.

As for sound I'm using Voodoohda 261 which gives me headphones and microphone the only issue is you have to adjust the setting in the preference pane.

Instead of sleep I just use InsmniaX which lets me close the lid with no ill affects

I almost forgot,did wireless work out for you?

i installed battery manager with no change and voodoobattery gives me a second battery icon neither have the time. ill try mini when i get off of work. do i need to uninstall my current drivers for sound before installing voodoohda? wireless was simple i moved the black wire behind the screen closer to the white one and removed pin 20. i was having problems at first with the tape it was still making contact with the pin it seems.

i took out the applehda installed the voodoo and had no sound. should i remove the smbios.kext that i used to get the battery working?

i guess put it back in,i have mine out but i'm running snow leopard,i forgot you were on leopard,maybe have a look at some of the Acer one a150 threads its basically the same hardware just different processors, a lot of the kexts will work and have a look at these.

I must have just got lucky on my install,i don't remember having to many issues,sorry i'm not much help.
