Hi,

I have been running Leopard on a i5-750 machine for a while and I though why not try the Snow Leopard on my netbook ( Samsung N148 / Atom N450 / Video- Intel GMA 3150 .... ).

I managed to install 10.6.2 on the netbook using the iPortable_Snow x86 and get sound, ethernet and the correct video resolution working.

So I thought why not update to 10.6.4. The comboInstaller ran without any problem but the machine failed to reboot stopping at the

boot0:done

prompt. Interestingly, the machine can use the bootloader on the USB.

Reinstalling the chamaleon bootloader did not help.

So I wiped out the partition and reinstalled iPortable_Snow x86 10.6.2. Now I needed xcode and installed the 3.2.2 dmg for xcode. Lo and behold - the

boot0:done

showstopper appears again. I tried fdisk to set the Snow_Leopard installation volume active but that did not help the situation.

What should I do?

Thanks again,

S.
