Hi, I really wanted to install Mac OS X onto my HP laptop as it would really help with college and music technology, as all the computers are iMacs.

My laptop is a HP G62-A16SA

AMD Athlon II P320 Dual Core - 2.1Ghz

320GB Toshiba MK2556 SATA

AMD M880G with ATI Radeon HD 4250

ATI HD Audio Device

Realtek HD Audio

Anyone got any ideas on if it is possible for me to install either leopard or snow leopard?

Thanks.

Have the same problem.. have you had any luck getting yours to work??

THere are plenty of AMD specific guides, but im not sure that they will work for this laptop.(I also have G62)

hello guys

My Asus K40AE laptop is pretty much the same than yours, and I just finished to install IATKOS S3 V2 with 10.6.6 update.

I can tell you it works although I haven't found the drivers for the chipset M880G.

therefore the sound and the video is not fully working but everything else is OK.

here are the options i've selected when i installed IATKOS:

don't forget to select a bootloader too

I also added the updates from Apple, so my system is Mac OS 10.6.6. I can even go to the new Apple app store :)

Don't forget to run ##### in order to fix the other problems.

from here, you'll be in my situation: loking for the proper M880G driver.

Enjoy!

Have you had any luck finding the M880G drivers?
