Andy Vandijck
This is a custom build of Perian optimized for SSE3 (prescott and above) machines. It also uses the latest SVN build of ffmpeg I also included libebml 1.0 and libmatroska 1.0 (for better .mkv support) Download: http://rapidshare.com/files/418410069/Peri...efPane.zip.html or download from this forum Perian.prefPane.zip

DarwinX
ThanksI'll test it 32 bit only???
Andy Vandijck
32 bit only??? All is 32bit except for A52Codec.bundle (which was buildable for 64bit) The code needs further mods for running in 64bit (The A52VideoImporter.bundle and Perian.bundle)
mitch_de
Does this matter (32Bit) really or its better by that SSE3 features even 32 Bit ?
Andy Vandijck
Does this matter (32Bit) really or its better by that SSE3 features even 32 Bit ? The original is fully 32Bit only so on that area it's the same as the original. It's faster thanks to the SSE3 instruction scheduling + -march=prescot + newer libraries
Oxtie
Installed I've got prescott. I've been trying to get optimized video playback from various sources. So far I'm very unhappy with Video playback and hardware acceleration VLC 1.2 for OSX will port hardware acceleration but it will take some time to come out, XBMC on other the hand has hardware acceleration but.... some how doesn't work (on my HD 5970).
