EskeUr
Hello Forum, I am try in to get OSX running in VMware . I got it to start up but it just stayes in the apple screen starting up for ever. I have deleted the AppleTPMACPI.kext file from Shell, and i have disblaed floppy and Serial ports. But neither helped me. Is this because my cpu does not support "sse2". I dont know what is SSE but i downloaded a tool telling me that my cpu is "AMD Athlon 2400+" and instruction are "MMX(+), 3Dnow! (+), SSE" Does i need a machine with a newer cpu to run OSX in VMWARE. Can my problem be something else ? Thx if someone can help.
DrJägermeister
No SSE2= no OSX86 in VMware. You need a newer CPU with min SSE2 or better SSE3
