Hi all,

Im having trouble following this guide.

Installing Snow Leopard on Inspiron 1525

I have installed Snow Leopard. It boots ok using the 132 CD and I was able to install Chameleon RC 2 and the extras and all the kexts it tell me too. But that is where i have the issue.

As suggested in some of the comments i tried to boot without the CD and no flag after step 8. (installing the kexts). I just get a black screen when the apple goes away. I read somewhere else that this is due to some sort of "sleep issue" and that i should copy a dsdt.aml taylored for the laptop into the extras folder. which i did and tried again. Still a black screen.

I also tried booting again from 132 CD using the -v -x flags. I get to the login screen Ok but none of my mouse buttons or the keyboard keys work so i can get no further

Im really stuck on this one. I have sucessfully made Hackintosh machines before on AMD systems using iDeneb releases. I thought using a retail CD on a core2duo would be MUCH easier but it is proving to be a nightmare

I REALLY appreciate any help anyone can give me. Im at a loose end and none of the guides I can find work at all.
