Kernel Panic/OS Crash

Hi all,

I've been trying for the past day to install OSx86 on VM and dual-boot. On dual-boot, it simply hangs when the kernel starts to load and goes into kernel panic, giving me the message "panic(cpu 2 caller 0x00370690)" and then a backtrace and the kernel information.

When I used a VM, I installed everything, and then it got to the grey apple logo, and it just hung.

Specs:

AMD Athlon II X4 630 Propus 2.8GHz

ECS IC780M-A2 (V1.0A) AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

Nvidia GeForce 260 GTX+

I'm thinking my CPU is incompatible. It always crashes with the message "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system. You will need to power off or reset the virtual machine at this point." I've read that that basically means you're screwed.

Any thoughts?
