daniel83
I think I need some help. I was working a making a bootable usb drive when I change my boot file to my MacBookPro hard drive instead of the usb. Now I am afraid to reboot the computer. What can I do? thanks, Daniel (The noob)
Gringo Vermelho
If all you did was copy 'boot' to the root of the hard drive then you're fine. Just delete it. If you did something more than that you'll have to provide more details.

Gringo Vermelho
I did "sudo cp -f root /" "root"? Don't you mean "boot"? If all you did was copying the file to / then just delete it and you'll be fine.
