agentej
When is going chameleon to fix the bootcachecontrol and launctl errors? PC EFI by Netkas solves that error, but it's outdated and uses com.apple.boot.plist instead of the new chameleon.org.boot.plist So... If you can fix that error, you're the best! Thank you very much! starobrno1
Is there any way somebody could work something out for the Sapphire HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 videocard so that the displayport will work. Ive been trying to make it work for over a year now but theres no way to make it work no matter what the heck I do. I want three displays and that should be possible with this card and it works in win 8 out of the box with no extra drivers or anything so to me it seems its just crazy it wont work in os x. Ive read up on every bit of info I could find on the internet so Ive tried everything even with Lion with no success. My mobo is an Asus P6T SE cpu is i7 930 and I use Fabios DST.aml and the rest of the files from that thread so the computer runs really good. It works good with two displays after editing the ati5000controller.kext. AND I have an ACTIVE adapter for the displayport. (Hell this mobo wont even let me use my two good old 7300 gs videocards that works supergood with my GA mobos so is this an Asus problem or what?) And Yes Im using a modern enough chameleon for this to work and it doesnt matter if I type in GraphicsEnabler=Yes or =No in the org.chameleon.boot.plist
DoiX
@ErmaC, i'm trying to compile your chameleon branch on ML using XCode 4.4 and obviously it doesn't work. XCode encounters make[]: md: No such file or directory related to pretty much every file. I've checked the make files but couldn't figure out what is the cause. Mind if you give me a hint? DoiX
@ErmaC, yep, everything installed. From what i could gather XCODE4.4 uses clang 3.1, so i assume this must be the problem.

And Yes Im using a modern enough chameleon for this to work and it doesnt matter if I type in GraphicsEnabler=Yes or =No in the org.chameleon.boot.plist Bump This is driving me crazy Ive been reading up on stuff for a week now. Ive even tried making a hex string for my two 7300 GS cards and it works if I use the two 16 lane slots but QE wont work then so a lot of programs wont work. If I do the same with one card in the 16 lane and one in the 8 lane I get KP. And what ever even I do when it comes to my Sapphire 5750 card it makes no difference and believe me Ive tried and really hard too. So.... Im thinking there is something wrong either with chameleon or Fabios dsdt.aml for the Asus P6T-SE mobo. What ever I do like GraphicsEnabler yes or no in any combination with AtiConfig=xxxxxx or whatever doesnt make no difference. Ive even figured out the numerics for the different type of ports on the 5750 card and tried to replace/edit that info the ATY_init.kext and tried with any combination of all the info I can find to make it work. And yes Ive tried doing all that in the AtiController5000.kext too and with any combination you can think of with no luck.

zhell
@ErmaC, i'm trying to compile your chameleon branch on ML using XCode 4.4 and obviously it doesn't work. XCode encounters make[]: md: No such file or directory related to pretty much every file. I've checked the make files but couldn't figure out what is the cause. Mind if you give me a hint? md is no longer part of OS X from Mountain Lion onwards. You can easily compile the sources from Lion, which are in this tar ball: http://opensource.apple.com/tarballs/adv_cmds/adv_cmds-147.tar.gz If you have homebrew: brew install https://raw.github.com/simonair/homebrew/2acd33a1f1ce1493e5fbe0967c24b4eb5ec6db5c/Library/Formula/md.rb
starobrno1
I installed ML and noticed theres no extra folder installed automatically with the 2035 chameleon so I had to create one myself. Is this how it should be? Also I always thought that GraphicsEnabler= ..... etc was for both Nvidia and AMD video card standards but in the 2030 chameleon it looks like that command is for Nvidia cards only. Is this right and how its meant to be?

FecsoMAC
Hi! I found some thing. If I use GraphicsEnabler, than I can sing in iCloud. If I use EFI strings with good NVCAP for my nVidia Quadro 4000 MAC card, than I can't sign in to iCloud. Conclusion: I sign in with GE, after I replace org.chameleon.Boot.plist with EFI, than I can use iCloud, but I don't unsign, because I need replace org.chameleon.Boot.plist again. Good nvcap settings: 0400000000000300000000000000000700000000 Can you add this in the next chameleon?
