Bingo! :D

EDIT: Actually my test from HDD and not USB

Sorry the typedef struct for the bootArgs is the one used for old OSes adapted for El Capitan and must be modified, be carefull with older OSes...

the code is raw, now must be refined :rolleyes:

Cool Bronya!!!!! AMD also!!!!! ha ha ha :D

I'll send you a copy now in PM, but must be cleaned...

So am I reading this correctly!?!? You actually got El Capitan to boot with AMD or just the Chameleon with the AMD? I put the hard work you guys did to the test this morning and can say.... The new Chameleon works FLAWLESSLY on 10.10.4 14E36b with AMD FX-8350.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS!!!  :thumbsup_anim:

Not here please, this Topic is only bootloader related.

Anyway you forgot to repair the permission before touching the /S/L/E ;)

EDIT

I don't know if the patch is correct or if is the one used for old OSes

In Fact also Enoch can boot now:

attachicon.gifboot.zip   --> use only to test El Capitan on a USB Stick (code must be refined for old OSes compatibility)

@Bronya, sorry for yesterday I did a little party with friends .... I still have headaches. :rofl:

About the implementation I forgot only one line of code that today I have inserted ...and it works!

Great job, works here with 1095+10103+1011dp1. :thumbsup_anim: :thumbsup_anim: :thumbsup_anim:

Hi Gogeta5026 ! Yes kernel on AMD 100 % ! :)

P.S. problem panic zalloc.c , because wrong PhysicalMemorySize !

I added this "bootArgs->PhysicalMemorySize =... " and works !

Thank Pike Alpha ! And Thank for help to Micky1979 ! )))

Download here boot rev.2678 --> boot_rev2678.zip

This only for test !

Hi Bronya,

2678 not work with my old MB casue of RANDOMSEED things, need >= 2699 revision to test.

Thanks.

Hi Micky1979,

2717 works fine with prelinked kernel but with no /Extra/Extensions files.

Need to add FakeSMC to SLE or LE to rebuild prelinked kernel with Kext Utility 2.6.3, then works fine here with 10.11. :D

FYI. :D :D

Thank you once again for all the hard work you guys have been doing!!!

I was able to boot Chameleon, create a USB with 10.11. Just wondering.... Since I'm using AMD FX-8350.... Was there a specific Kernel you used and bootflags in order to get as far as the install process? I seem to start loading extensions and all but the computer never reaches the install process. Just restarts. Or am I jumping the gun here and it's not really possible to reach that far yet because of AMD?
