Ben_213
I hope to install Snow Leopard on these components via #####. Let me know if anything below will cause me problems. I will use this computer for video editing, and some 3d rendering. Also, if you have any suggestions for better components for around the same price I am open to that. I want to keep the price under $1000. Alessandro17
Everything will be compatible, but I can't find a lot about the mobo you have chosen, or I find that people have had problems with it. BTW, are you aware that the price of the Core i7-950 has almost been cut in half? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115211 IMO, it is worth considering, and then you need a different mobo, of course. Besides, it is slightly better to use tri channel Ram.

I am having trouble finding a motherboard on the wiki that supports the i7 processors.

I am having trouble finding a motherboard on the wiki that supports the i7 processors. The wiki isn't much up to date. I remember seeing several guides about socket 1366 mobos. Best place where to look is here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showforum=45 Edit: found a guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=189052
