JackTheRipper13 Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 So I've tried and tried to get osx to install on my pc.... here's where I am. bought retail osx tried installing with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] from this guide http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html no matter what I do I can't even get to the first apple screen... my system always locks up and all fans start running at their highest speed... I found a way to get a little further by putting in this command and then hitting enter to boot the cd -v set cpus=1 -x this will start safe mode but in the end it still locks up, screen goes blank, all fans are on high...
