FLX
Hello, It appears that my system does boot with the DSDT.aml and smbios.plist from my EFI Boot disk but apparently does not work with booting from HDD, which results in a kernel panic. I'd like to try and use the DSDT.aml and smbios.plist from my EFI Boot disk, how can I extract those? Thanks, Dennis
Gringo Vermelho
You don't see any files on the disc when browsing it?
FLX
I do not see the /Extra folder when browsing the EFI Boot disk. However, they are definitely there:
Gringo Vermelho
google "OSX view hidden files". Seems odd that the files are hidden...? You aren't using Windows to look at the disc are you? If you're on Windows you need to install something like HFSExplorer, UltraISO or Transmac to view the HFS filesystem. Or you can install Bootcamp. FLX
I'm using ShowAllFiles to view all the hidden files in OSX, however, no Extra folder there. Is there a hidden partition on a EFI Boot disk? If so, how can I access it?
Gringo Vermelho
This is very weird. With the disk in the drive, run Terminal.app and type diskutil list to see all accessible drives and partitions.
