Disaster^Recovery Posted August 30, 2010 Share Posted August 30, 2010 Greetings everyone, I am new to all this and was hoping I could please get some assistance on my build. My current hardware is as follows: Asus P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 Ghz CPU 4 GB Ram PC-8500 OCZ Asus -Nvidia 8800GT 512MB video card 1 x 75GB Raptor drive- SATA 1 x 300GB Seagate Drive- SATA This is my very first experience working with mac OSX so please be patient with me. I found this site and followed the instructions to the letter : http://lifehacker.com/348653/install-os-x-...acking-required Everything seemed to install OK but when I went to restart all I end up with is a black screen and a blinking white cursor in the upper left corner. I had a read through the P5W DH Deluxe thread in these forums, but couldn't find a solution : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=68453 I installed using the Kalyway boot CD/installer & if I leave the CD in the drive it goes through booting but then comes up with this error: Not sure what to do next or how to fix my problem.
