Hi all,

I'm interested in cloning my 80gb SL installation onto an externall usb hdd for updating os versions etc. I have a 500gb drive, so i've partitioned it into a 80gb bit and the other bit. The drive shows up in the BIOS boot order, so will it automatically choose the only partition with an OS on it, or is it more complicated than that??

Any help appreciated! :D

Now i realise it must be possible cos my desktop has a C: and D: and it boots from C: <_<

Is there some way of marking the partition as the boot one?
