I would appreciate help in stopping a program from automatically starting up every time I start my Apple which uses OS X ver 10.6.
I have selected the tab within the program itself to prevent it from automatically starting up but this has not had any effect.
I do recall some time ago someone suggesting a way to do this by going into the settings on my Mac but the program in question was not listed so I was unable to do this.
It was a relatively easy process to do this using Windows but I'd appreciate any help or advice on how to do this now I've switched to Apple.
