Hey everyone,

I've been trying a few methods that Google has brought me to, but to no avail so far, including an ##### method.

I'm still sorta' new to this but picking up bits and pieces, such as what a kext is, and so on. So immediately excuse my "noobiness" and whether or not I'm posting in the right section.

I have some experience in Windows and Linux alike but still quite confused in Mac OS X, so hopefully you may be able to help me. I do have a legitimate Mac OS X Snow Leopard retail install disc if this is of any help, and the following system specification:

If I'm missing anything else out, feel free to ask.

Motherboard: ASUS P5QL-Pro

BIOS: 07/01/09 17:37:27 Ver 08.00.14 (This information was retrieved from dxdiag, don't know how relevant it is)

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHZ

Memory: 4096MB (2x2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2)

Graphics: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS 512

Sound: Creative Soundblaster Xtreme Audio

2x SATA hard disks, 1x 150GB, 1x 1.5TB

1x SATA DVD-RW

1x PATA DVD-RW

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Ubuntu 10.04

Onboard sound and networking, see the motherboard spec.

Hopefully you may be able to help me and push me in the direction of a decent guide, I've got Mac OS X installed on a Virtualbox VM so I guess there is sorta' access to a Mac around, so to speak.

Thanks a bunch and apologies if I'm doing it all wrong.
